Effects of GHCCC in HF Model Rats induced by Carbon Tetrar-chloride Compounded with Other Factors

2015
Objective: To investigate the effects of GHCCC in HF model rats induced by carbon tetrar- chloride compounded with other factors. Methods: One hundred SD rats excluding ten rats in blank control group were injected carbon tetrar- chloride( CCl4) hypodermically and were fed with high fat diet and 10% ethyl alcohol every other day for eight weeks to establish HF models. Existing rats were divided into six groups randomly after four weeks: the normal control group, the model control group, the positive control group( 800mg·kg- 1·d- 1),the high, middle and low- dose groups( 800,400,200 mg·kg- 1﹒ d- 1). After 8- week treatment, the hyaluronic acid( HA),laminin( LN),type Ⅲ precollagen( Ⅲ PC) and hydroxyptoline( Hyp) were assayed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and the histopathological changes were observed by MASSON staining. Result: GHCCC groups’ HA,LN and Ⅲ PC in serum and collagen fibers in hepatic fibrosis were significantly lower than those of the model group. The high does group’s Hyp level was lower than that of the model group and the hepatic pathological damage was relieved. The high and middle dose groups’ fatty degeneration of liver and liver fibrosis score were significantly reduced( P < 0. 05). Conclusion: GHCCC was effective in treatment of HF model rats induced by carbon tetrar- chloride compounded with other factors.
