Coupling Relationship between Land Use Structure and Industrial Structure

The coordinative development between land use structure and industrial structure is viewed as the necessary factor to realize sustainable development. Using coupling degree model,  this paper analyzes the coupling features of land use structure and industrial structure. The results indicate that: (1)The coupling degree between  land use structure and industrial structure has been gradually increasing,  but since 2002,  the coupling degree took on weak inverse “U” shape,  the coupling degree was on decreasing trend;(2) The coupling degree of 29 provincial capital cities were in the range of 0.3739~0.5065 in 2007,  which belonged to moderate coupling and low coupling,  and the coupling degree was mainly moderate;(3)The deviation coefficient of  land use structure and industrial structure variation ratio decreased from 2.92 to 0.90 during 1991~2007,  this showed the synchronous change trend between  land use structure and industrial structure.
