Security Enhancement for IoT Enabled Agriculture

2021
Abstract Almost all industries, including smart farming, have been redefined by the rapid development of the Internet of Things (IoT), which has shifted the industry from statistical to quantitative methods. Such revolutionary changes shaking current methods of agriculture and create new opportunities along with a number of challenges. This article emphasizes the promise of wireless and IoT sensors in agriculture and the problems to be tackled as this technology is combined with conventional agricultural practices. The new production of smart agricultures by IoT is changing the face of traditional forms of farming to improve them and protect challenges such as animal and fire and make them cost-effective for farmers. This paper proposes an IoT-based model to prevent potential damage in agriculture, both from wild animals and weather conditions.
