Emprendimiento de nanoempresas en el empoderamiento de mujeres neolonesas

This paper analyzes the relationship between nano-business entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment. The authors applied a controlled laboratory experiment with 204 participants from October 2017 to March 2018 in the Metropolitan Area of Monterrey. The method they used was a decision matrix and a logit model that allow them to obtain estimations of the entrepreneurs’ decisions on their empowerment. Among the main findings of this paper, it is found that nano-business entrepreneurship has a positive and significant impact on female empowerment through more economic opportunities and self-confidence.
