Update on Pharmacological Management of Hypotensive Syndromes in the Elderly

Numerous hypotensive syndromes are encountered in clinical practice. Even though the first line of treatment is non-medication therapies, pharmacological management is indicated if the patient is symptomatic and may be combined with non-medication related therapies, especially if these non-pharmacological therapies have not been effective. Different medications are available to treat these hypotensive syndromes and will be discussed in this chapter.
