USE OF STANDARD ANALOGUE TECHNIQUES IN SOLVING PROPAGATION PROBLEMS

A partial differential equation describing transport phenomena is examined. A modal analysis leads to a system of ordinary differential equations which can be solved on a general purpose analog computer. A circuit arrangement enabling a simulation of pulse transmission at a variable speed along a channel is presented. (auth)
