Nonlinearity emulation and numerical analyses of pneumatic vibration isolation system

A nonlinear model of pneumatic vibration isolation system was established.Based on this,simulation analyses were done using matlab/simulink software and the response curves were got under simple harmonic excitation.The results show that the system has strong nonlinear characters.Simple harmonic excitationcan induce subharmonic/multiple frequencies and offset response at the zero frequency.When the exciting frequency is near by the linearized natural frequency,the subharmonic and multiple frequencies components become stronger.Guided by the simulation results,a possible numerical method was put forward.Based on harmonic balance method,the numerical solution was obtained by using iteration method.The validity of the method was verified through comparisons with simulation results,which show good agreement with the numerical solution.
