A boiled egg (10) having a predetermined pre-cut (13) on its shell, configured to permit easier withdrawal (12) of said shell. Such precutting is advantageously made so that the shell opens when unscrewed (12) the egg (10) of substantially a quarter turn. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a hard-boiled egg, and a corresponding package.
