Recycled Water: How Good Should It Be?

Recycled water has become more accepted as a water source for agricultural and horticultural production in the past decade. A number of schemes have been implemented that focus on the use of treated sewage effluent for irrigation of agricultural and horticultural crops, and other sources such as winery/dairy wastewater have been recycled for irrigation.
