ASSESSMENT OF EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT BASED ON AGE

Engaged employees are the most sought-after resources in organizations across the globe. Efforts have been made by academicians and management consultants to help organizations to understand the dynamics of employeeengagement. Both employer and employee have an active role to play in cultivating engagement. The aim of this paper is to assess employee engagement based on age of the respondents. The study was conducted among workingemployees in various IT companies situated in Chennai. It was observed that age of the employees is playing a vital role in employee engagement.
