Acute stroke treatment with thrombectomy for patients with large vessel occlusion (LVO)1 improves patient outcomes through successful reperfusion. Application of thrombectomy requires identification of favorable candidates. A number of well-described imaging characteristics identify favorable as opposed to unfavorable candidates for thrombectomy,2,3 but predictors of procedural success are less well defined.
