Design of a Dual-polarized Slot Array Antenna with Monopulse Corporate-feed Waveguides for Two-dimensional Orthogonal 8-multiplexing in the Non-far Region

We propose a dual-polarized slot array antenna with monopulse corporate-feed waveguides for rectangular-coordinate orbital multiplexing transmission system in the non-far region, which is equivalent to OAM. In this paper, we design an 8-multiplexing 16x16-slot array antenna with uniform excitation in the 60GHz band. We design the corporate-feed waveguides, the 2x2-slot subarray and the two-dimensional monopulse circuits, and analyze the 16x16-slot monopulse array combining the radiating elements, the corporate-feed circuits, and the two-dimensional monopulse circuits. An 8.5% bandwidth of VSWR less than 2.0 and more than 38 dB between the two input ports are achieved. The capacity gain is 7.44 for 0.2m transmission distance and 30dB SNR.
