New Sources for Electrical and Electromagnetic Logging

With appling to geoelectric we consider the problem of electromagnetic excitation of layered (horizontal- and cylindrical-layered) mediums by external "magnetic current". In particular, excitation by an axial magnetic current (toroidal coil with current) which is the inductive analogue of vertical electrical dipole. Obtained solutions are represented by integrals which are su ciently simple for algorithmization.
