PENETRATION OF ORTHOFEN THROUGH BIOLOGICAL MEMBRANES

1991
The NSAIDs are known to be capable of penetrating into the joint structures when administered systemically and exerting an antiinflammatory effect there [5]; moreover, there are data indicating that orthofen raises the threshold of pain sensitivity not only of inflamed but also of intact tissues, which enabled the authors to suggest the presenc~ of a central component in its analgesic effect [7].
