Bu calismada, Denizli Ili Merkez Ilkogretim Okullari 1.sinif ogrencilerinde (7 yasindaki cocuklarda), cesitli antropometrik vucut cevre ve ust ekstremite olcumleri yapilmasi, boy ve vucut agirliklari ile olcum parametrelerinin karsilastirilmasi amaclanmistir. Antropometrik olcumler, 210 kiz (% 49.2), 217 erkek (% 50.8), toplam 427 ogrenci uzerinde, normal anatomik pozisyonda ve antropometri kurallarina uygun olarak yapildi. Agirlik olcumu icin baskul, boy olcumu icin boy olcer, diger olcumler icin esnek olmayan mezura kullanildi. Her iki cinsiyette elde edilen antropometrik olcumlerin birbirleri ile korelasyonlarina bakildi. Elde edilen sonuclarin, gelismenin degerlendirilmesinde, vucut protezlerinin yapiminda ve bolgesel tekstil tasariminda yararli olacagini dusunuyoruz. Abstract Antropometric body circumference and upper extremity length measurements in the first class primary school student (7 years old) at the centrum of Denizli Circumference and length anthropometric measurements are used for the evaluation of the body development. Seven age is time to begin primary school education in Turkey and it is important age for the evaluation of the development commonly. In this study, aim was to make anthropometric body circumference and upper extremity length measurements in the first class primary school student (7 years old) at the centrum of Denizli and to compare the results among the height, weight and measurement parameters. Measurements were done according to anthropometric rule in normal anatomic position on 210 female (% 49.2), 217 male (% 50.8), finally 427 children. Weighbridge for weight, height ruler for height and tailor ruler for circumference and length anthropometric measurements were used. In both sex, obtained anthropometric data's correlation in each other were evaluated. We believe that these results could be useful in evaluation of development at school age children, made body prothesis and also planning in textile product.
