Adaptive Modulation and Code Rate Scheme for Layered Coding Video Multicast in Multirate Wireless Networks

In providing the mobile video multicast service, high quality and efficient video information multicasting to the multicast group members will play an important role. For this, we propose a layered coding video multicast scheme which can efficiently provide channel status information using CDMA code and adaptively determine the modulation and code rate in the multirate wireless networks, and show its enhanced bandwidth efficiency through simulation.
