An overview of European spaceborne vacuum tube amplifiers and system needs

The paper aims at providing an overview of European vacuum tube amplifiers used for space-borne applications in the field of Telecommunications and Earth Observation. The overview also describes current system needs in the different domains and discusses development plans at the European Space Agency.
