Water hatred of composite insulators in heavily contaminated areas

Composite insulators have now been widely used in differeut medium and heavily contaminated environments in China.Their water hatred will inevitably change as time goes on and dirts accumulate on their surfaces.More than 40 110 kV silicone rubber composite insulators,whiell have been used in Jiamusi grid,Northeastern part of China for about 10 years,howe been tested using internationally commonly used methods for appearance,ESDD,NSDD,and water hatred with a lot of test data accumulated and some laws discovered.
