Characterizations of fine particle -YBCO superconductor

Abstract Fine particle-YBCO has been produced from the high quality YBCO bulk by a pulverizer, which particle is average 1.0 μm in diameter. The fine particle-YBCO is pressed into pellets at 5–8 ton and sintered at 935° C with oxygen. As a result, we can obtain the superconducting properties for the fine particle-YBCO with superconducting transition temperature at 91.3 K estimated from the measurements of critical current.
