Introduction to the special issue : beyond technical connectivity

This issue is a follow up to the November 1994 FID news Bulletin special on Electronic networking in developing countries. The FID News Bulletin, through this isssue, seeks to document the status of electronic networking in Africa. Although responses from some categories of stakeholders in telematicqs and electronic networking in Africa are misssing, the articles reflect on a broad and comprehensive basis the issues in electronic networking in Africa
