Exponential Methods of Imputation in Estimation of Current Population Mean in Two-Occasion Successive Sampling

2016
We proposed some improved methods of imputation to deal with non-response which occurs on each occasion in two-occasion successive sampling. Suggested imputation methods results in exponential type estimators of current population mean in two-occasion successive sampling. Properties and optimum replacement strategies of the resultant estimators have been examined and its effectiveness of the proposed estimation methods is shown through empirical means of comparison. Suitable recommendations have been put forward for survey practitioners.
