Generating grinding in rotor production – KAPP rotor grinding machine RX 120

There has been an increasing trend in recent years from piston and scroll compressors towards screw-type compressors in the manufacturing of small compressors. These changes are accompanied by the need of a cost-efficient production of rotors used in screw-type compressors. KAPP developed the generating grinding process for rotor manufacturing in order to meet this requirement. This new solution enables a grinding time reduction of up to 40% compared to conventional production methods.
