The Attitude Measurement and Control System of EURECA

Abstract The paper is concerned with the attitude and orbit control system of the European retrievable carrier. It describes sensors, actuators, onboard computer, the attitude reference generation and the controller design for the different measurement and operational modes. Failure detection and recovery aspects are discussed as well as S/W aspects. Typical simulation results are shown and budgets are given.
