AbstractThe constant demands of society and the evolution of administrative and political processes, including existing information technologies, favor public administration to be more dynamic, provide a better state of social welfare and restore its processes with equity and transparency, making present. It is about that society and government satisfy, each from their legal instances, the citizen demands and, that the latter decree coverage of policies of support to the governed. Public policies are triggers in the effectiveness of public management of governments, and in the new era of information, design, analysis, implementation and evaluation acquire relevance for social welfare, promoting a systematic development of good public practices; the research proposes an analysis of the development of public administration and its effectiveness with the implementation of public policies configured according to the new challenges imposed by the state of art today.
