Evidence for a Druyvesteyn energy distribution in hot-electron electroluminescence

1988
Observation of emission intensities and their voltage dependence for emission from rare-earth-doped ZnS thin films and rare-earth-implanted ZnSe single-crystal diodes gives further evidence for a Druyvesteyn-type distribution of the hot electrons that produce the electroluminescence by impact excitation.
