A method for similarity analysis of power system state

To analyse the similarity between the power system states, the power system state is transformed into a simplified state model based on the multi-layer topology technique, and quantify the similarity between different state models by similarity measure technique. The method of analyzing similarity of power system state is able to determine the difference of the power system state, classify them, and provide the basis for further power system analysis. Theoretical analysis and digital tests are carried out. The results show the Method is efficient, rapid, and convenient in practice and fit for the requirement of application in power system.
