Transportation Management Centers

This chapter describes the functions of a transportation management center (TMC) and provides examples of the services that TMCs provide. Information flows among stakeholders, how they relate to the Regional ITS Architecture and how they may be implemented are discussed. Statewide TMC architectures and statewide databases are described.
