The Research on Target Tracking Algorithm Based on Weight-related Image Matching

To overcome target expansion,shape transformation and occasional frame lost due to the missile phase motion of television guided bombs,a modified weight-related function,target tracking strategy,template updating and modification,and tracking point positioning method as well as a prediction method to solve the frame loss of target were proposed.Based on this,an improved weight-related matching tracking algorithm was realized.The algorithm can overcome tracking position excursion and lower calculating speed occurred in routine correlation function matching method.The experimental results show that the target can be tracked smoothly using the method presented in the paper and it is indicated that this method is effective.
