The application of geometric projection method to the illustration of roundness in optical measuring projector

For the illustration of roundness and roundness tolerance in optical measuring projector system,a kind of special geometric projection method is proposed in this paper.With this method,the discrete points in the non-monotonic space are projected to the monotonic space,then fitted with interpolation algorithm,finally the fitting smooth curve is projected reversely and the points in the non-monotonic space are connected smoothly.Geometric projection method resolves the limitation of some interpolation algorithms only used in a monotonic space,and enlarges the application fields of the above interpolation algorithm.
