Characterization of Heavy Metal Waste Glass by Mössbauer Spectroscopy

2002
Mossbauer spectroscopy is utilized for characterizing heavy metal waste glasses prepared from synthetic soda-lime silicate glass, glass bottle for commercial drinks and zeolite (mordenite). Local structure of heavy metal waste glasses is discussed with the chemical durability investigated with the acid rain simulant (pH 3.5) composed of HNO3 and H2SO4.
