Formación y desafíos en el profesorado: área de Ciencias Sociales

This paper attempts to find some answers to the questions raised on the education of the graduates of the Social Sciences and History Training College careers, at Instituto Superior de Profesorado No 3, Villa Constitucion, Santa Fe province. This approach pretends to reveal some insights that the teachers of these careers have about their own training. The permanence and breaks produced in the discourse of the different participants since 1960 up to the year 2000 at this Institute offer a complex but, at the same time, interesting area to be explored. The production process of knowledge is focused on the inquiry of conceptions, processes and practices which lie behind the educational actions in the degree training.
