Study of 99Mo and long-lived impurities produced through (p, x) reactions in the natMo
2022
Abstract Using the stack-foil activation technique, excitation functions were measured for (p, x) reactions on M o n a t target. The target was irradiated with a proton beam of 17 MeV kinetic energy. Along with the medically important radioisotopes M o 99 / T c 99 m we studied other long-lived radio-impurities produced in the target. Cross sections of all the produced radioisotopes from M o n a t ( p , x ) reactions are compared with the available literature data, which show good agreement.
