Three colour solid-state luminescence from positional isomers of facilely to modify thiophosphoranyl anthracenes

Three positional isomers of a thiophosphoranyl anthracene were synthesized and their photophysical properties investigated. By variation of the substiuents’ position blue, green and yellow solid-state fluorescence with a difference in the emission wavelength of over 100 nm could be established, which is assigned to intra- and intermolecular effects.
