Power Sector Carbon Index: Data, Sources, and Methods

The Power Sector Carbon Index provides an estimate of the carbon dioxide intensity of the U.S. power sector using publicly available data sources. The most current information and all index charts are available at www.emissionsindex.org. The analysis code and data are available for download at https://github.com/EmissionsIndex/Emissions-Index. The Power Sector Carbon Index was created by researchers in Carnegie Mellon University’s Scott Institute for Energy Innovation.
