Optimal Voltage Control for Active Distribution Networks

With the vigorous development of micro-grid technology, the renewable energy-based distributed power, as a new generation technology will cause the fluctuation of its output power to reduce the accuracy of system load prediction under the influence of solar radiation, and also further affect the ability of system voltage regulation .To solve such kinds of problems, a voltage control strategy of active distribution network considering capacity reactive power compensation is proposed. Firstly, with the analysis of the output performance of solar panels in grid-connected mode, a voltage optimal control model which is suitable for seasonal solar radiation intensity is established. Then on this basis, the capacity reactive compensation balance control is designed. Combined with the genetic algorithm to optimize the discrete deviation value of the system voltage, the capacity reactive power compensation value under different voltage performances is obtained through simulation calculation. The effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified through simulation and experiment.
