Implementation Of A Service Learning Methodology To Increase Motivation Of Secondary School Students

This study reports an experience of service learning carried out at the Civil Engineering School (Escuela de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos) at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. Undergraduate students visited two secondary schools and presented there their Final Degree Projects (civil engineering curriculum) to secondary school students. Three types of information was collected: the feedback of the faculty advisors, the (peer) feedback among the undergraduate students and the feedback of the high school students.
