The application of an online questionnaire survey wjx.cn in collecting information at holding facilities for COVID-19

Objective To introduce the design's background of an online questionnaire survey wjx.cn and its application and effect in collecting information at holding facilities for coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Methods After analyzing the problems in collecting information of patients with suspected COVID-19 at a Class A tertiary comprehensive hospital, an online questionnaire survey wjx.cn was designed.A total of 40 nurses who were selected in random collected the information by printed questionnaire from 22nd January to 28th January 2020 and by online questionnaire survey wjx.cn from 29th January to 4nd February 2020. The parameters were compared between two groups. Results Compared with printed questionnaire, the nurses in the digital group exposed less time in isolating rooms and cost less time in copying the information and determining the admission time (P<0.05), and they made less errors in transferring materials and copying the messages (P<0.05). Conclusion The online questionnaire survey wjx.cn worked well at the holding facilities and can be promoted in similar situation.
