Characteristics analysis on HY-1A/COCTS spectrum information

PCA and other methods were used to open out COCTS spectrum information from different spectrum structure in the case of Bohai bay in april,2003. Within 10 bands spectrum, comparing with other bands, there are more information for 9,10 band. Among other 8 bands, there are more information for band 3,4 than others. From PCA, band 3 contributes greatly. Band 9 is good relation with band 10, and the coefficient of relationship is 0.977. The coefficient relation of band 8 and band 2 is 0.967. This shows that there are more overlay information for hese bands. Thus it is good way to combine 8,4,3 or 8,4,1bands.
