Classification of Phonocardiography based Heart Auscultations while Listening to Tilawat-e-Quran and Music Using Vibrational Mode Decomposition

Tension and depression are emotional feelings caused by tough life routines and situations. People are under stress due to their work, daily problems, and loss in their business. So, they use many channels and mediums to release this stress. One of the most frequently used methods is listening to music and their Holy scripts. Muslims strongly believe that their Holy book Al-Quran is the firmest way of bringing peace and pleasure in their life. Its recitation helps people relax and release the pain of patients having mental and physical sickness. To prove this scientifically, researchers evaluate the effect on the heart and brain during Holy Quran's recitation and listening. In this paper, our main focus is to analyze the activity of the heart. We are using Phonocardiogram (PCG) based heart auscultations to test the heartbeat rate before and after listening to the Holy Quran and music. PCG signals are collected from 47 subjects during three conditions, i.e., during normal, Quran, and music listening. With the help of pre-processing, segmentation, and Neural network techniques, we achieved a cumulative accuracy of 98.6%. Thus, it proves the fact that Tilawat-e-Quran brings calmness and happiness to the heart as compared to music listening.
