Photonic Crystal Microring Resonator Sensor based on Narrowband Microwave Photonic Filtering Technique

We demonstrate an integrated photonic crystal microring resonator sensor incorporating microwave photonic filtering technique. The results show 114-fold improvement in the resolution for temperature sensing and 50 dB notch rejection enhancement for magnetic field detection.
