Thermoplastic polyurethane resin and molded article

2011
Disclosed is a thermoplastic polyurethane resin which is obtained by at least having a polyisocyanate, a high molecular weight polyol and a chain extender react with each other. The chain extender contains an amide group-containing diol that is represented by general formula (1), and the content of a hard segment that is formed by the reaction between the polyisocyanate and the amide group-containing diol is 30-60% by mass relative to the total mass of the thermoplastic polyurethane resin. HO-R 2 -CO-NH-R 1 -NH-CO-R 3 -OH (1) (In the formula, R 1 represents a divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 2-8 carbon atoms, a divalent alicycle-containing hydrocarbon group having 3-8 carbon atoms or a divalent aromatic aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 7 or 8 carbon atoms; and R 2 and R 3 may be the same or different and each represents a divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1-5 carbon atoms or a divalent alicycle-containing hydrocarbon group having 3-5 carbon atoms.)
