Injectable In Situ Induced Robust Hydrogel for Photothermal Therapy and Bone Fracture Repair

2021
A novel photothermal hydrogel is fabricated, which can transform into a mechanically strong network by in situ gelation with Ca2+ in tissues. With the properties of good biocompatibility, long residential time, outstanding photothermal conversion efficiency, and high toughness, the hydrogel can be used as an ideal platform to realize a significant tumor photothermal therapy effect and bone defects repair simultaneously.
