Osseodensification Paradigm Shift

Primary stability is one of the most important factors for implant success. Achieving adequate stability is challenging in a low-density bone. Osseodensification is a novel concept that changes the paradigm of implant site preparation. This technique is beneficial in increasing primary implant stability to improve implant success. This chapter will discuss the rationale, advantages, indications, and contraindications of this technique. In the end, the osseodensification surgical procedure will be introduced.
