L'histoire des origines (Gn 1,1–11,26). Stratégie narrative et parcours théologique

2019
EnglishIn this article, the author considers the whole of the Genesis 1-11, viewing it as one continuous story from a narrative perspective. Attention is focused on the character of God which is revealed progressively, first through the realization of the work of creation seen from two different points of view, where the risk involved in human freedom is invoked. His subsequent successive reactions to the unfortunate choices made by humankind, which compromise the future of the created world, reveal him as a God who does not resign himself to evil but maintains the hope that blessing will prevail. The intention is to highlight the narrative techniques employed in this story to enable the reader to follow closely the divine character: the management of time in the story; the pace, which slows at the point of bringing out the relationship between God and humankind; the repetition of scenes which help to maintain suspense in the account of his interaction; the knowledge of the readers and their position with respect to the characters, factors that serve to guide the reader in the discovery of the character of God and cultivating empathy with him catalaEn aquest article, l’autor recorre tota la historia de Genesi 1-11 considerada aqui com una unitat literaria de gran riquesa narrativa.
