ARCHIVAL DATABASE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE SHRP ASPHALT RESEARCH PROGRAM

The Archival Database was developed for the Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP) Asphalt Research Program to serve as an historical record of data developed by the Program's contractors. It contains two types of files: tests files and data files. The former contains details of each experiment, its objective and scope, and the data files include the data generated for each experiment. This report gives detailed instructions for developing the text and data files. Text files contain details of each experiment, its objective and scope. The file format for both files are described, and the information that must be included in the header are outlined.
