A preliminary study on genetic variation of cultured Takifugu rubripes population

Isozyme analysis was conducted on cultured Takifugu rubripes population by using horizontal starch gel electrophoresis. Nine loci were examined from eight enzymes, and PGMand IDHP were polymorphic when the most common allele was less than or equal to 0.99. The proportion of polymorphic was 0.222 2, the average observed heterozygosity was 0.046 7, and the expected heterozygosity was 0.099 8. The average effective number of alleles was 1.184 0.
