On Islamization of Caqadai Khanate

1998
The Process of Caqadai Khanate Islamization can be divided into three periods: the Early Period (also called budding stage, 1260 AD),in which the rulers tended to go in for Islam; the Middle Period (also known as development stage, from 1260 to 1334 AD), in which Khans were converted to Islam one after another;and the Late Period (also known as the completion stage, from 1334 to 1370 AD),in which the Turkish-converted Western Mongolian noblemen and the successive Khans after the Eastern Tuhur Tumur all believed in Islam. The essay gives an abundant evidence for the mail reasons for the Early Period, the Middle Period, and the Late Period in which Caqadai Khanate became Islamized.
