Simulation of Variable Frequency Controlled AC Induction Motor Operating On Non-Linear Load

2020
The purpose of the research is to analyze and search for ways to improve the control systems of an asynchronous electric drive with variable-frequency control, designed for mechanisms with a variable periodic load moment, by searching, developing and applying circuit solutions and control algorithms. It will allow for optimal energy consumption and ensure the reliability of the device. A mathematical simulation model of a vector control system for an induction-motor drive is developed. The simulation of the system at constant and variable shaft load is made. The complex variable load depends on the angle of rotation of the motor shaft. The simulation results showed the presence of ripples of rotational speed. It is shown that the settings of the PI controller do not allow reducing the ripples of the rotational speed during engine performance at a variable load. It is proposed to use a neural network controller in the control system to reduce the ripple coefficient.
