The influence of iron and thermal treatments on the microstructure of commercially pure titanium

Abstract In this paper the different microstructures obtained following various thermal treatments on two grades of commercial-purity titanium are described and discussed. The aim of these treatments was to change the distribution of the impurities in the materials and thus modify their mechanical properties.
