FOR MOTION ESTIMATION

A novel frame memory architecture, the picture processing RAM (PPRAM), is presented which has been designed for special applications in image data reduction. It allows to procesp the motion-estimation algorithm without an additional processing element. Therefore a modified static RAM memory cell has been designed which leads to a logical relation between the wordline and the content of the memory cell.
